Concerning any possible changes in visa on arrival

I plan to travel from China to Laos on the day my China visa expires. Reading your detailed information, I see three border crossings from China to Laos, with only one-Mohan to Botan offering visa on arrival. I would just like to verify that as of January, 2013, this is still valid and I can indeed obtain a visa on arrival. Thank you very much.

Thanks for posting the question.
As of January, visa on arrival at Laos-China border (Mohan/Botan) is still available, nothing has changed as far as I know.

You can be certain that you can get Lao entry visa at the border provided that you hold a valid passport and that you're not from a country in the list of countries that Laos doesn't give visa on arrival at present.
