China Eastern Airlines (www.flychinaeastern.com) operate one flight daily direct to/from Kunming (China) and Vientiane Wattay Airport (Laos), and two flights weekly to/from Nanning and Vientiane.

Lao Airlines (www.laoairlines.com) flies daily to/from Kunming and Vientiane Capital, twice weekly to/from Jinghong and Luang Prabang, and three times weekly to/from Guangshou and Vientiane capital.

At present available direct flights from China to Laos are only from Kunming, Jinghong Quangzhou and Nanning to Vientiane capital and Luang Prabang.

To get to Laos by air from other parts of China you will need to get to these places and get a flight from there, or fly to Bangkok, Thailand and then get a flight from Bangkok to Laos (Vientiane Capital, Luang Prabang, Savannakhet or Pakse).
