I am an Indian and wannt to visit Laos through Thailand..

I want to visit Laos and I have a confirmed return ticket from Mumbai to Bangkok. I want to enter Laos by land and I am thinking about exiting through Nong Khai-Vientiane border and then and re-entering Thailand through Chong Mek-Vangtao border. I will be getting Visa On Arrival (Single Entry) at Bangkok Airport when I first enter. Do I get Lao Visa easily and then Thai Visa On Arrival again at Chong Mek? Or should I reverse the order of my entry and exit points?


And is it possible to get Thai VOA again within a gap of 10-11 days since I will be staying in Laos for 10 days only.

Hi Ajay,

Thanks for dropping by, and sorry for taking too long to reply, it might be too late for you but I think I will post it anyway.

As for Lao visa on arrival, yes it is easy to get one.

For Thai visa on arrival I'm not hundred percent sure if it's easy to get it at border crossing. It's easy at airports as long as you have a return ticket to show that you'll be flying out of Thailand within a period of 30 days.

I wish I can provide a definite answer, but it's out of my scope.
