Motorcycle question

I am coming to Laos to work for 5 years. I wish to bring two motorbikes - Yamaha MT-01 (1700cc) & a Honda VTR 1000 cc.I bought both bikes years ago & wish to ride while I am there. Are these larger bikes allowed in your country as I am told there is a maximum of 450 cc for bikes. These bikes are not going to be sold as I will bring them with me if I leave. Can you explain to me what is right or wrong.

Sorry for not being able to reply quickly.
I couldn't get a solid confirmation regarding the issue. I've asked people in the field but not yet get good enough info. If/when I get anything I'll post here.

Mean while, from the top of my head (if I remember correctly) only up to 250cc motorbikes are allowed in Laos, not sure if that has been changed in recent years (I've checked and still wait for answer).
