With the current current visa sanction the US has placed, will this effect me visiting Laos as a tourist?

Yes, you can. Everything regarding Lao visa on arrival remains unchanged.

 The sanction of Lao tourist visa remain unchanged for US citizens

Hi Debbie,

No, I don't think that will affect US tourists to Laos. The Lao government responded to the recent US visa sanction but not in the way that will affect US citizens. For now, everything remains unchanged re Lao visa on arrival.
